Jayateerth has won many accolades and awards. In 2007 he received the "Young Maestro" award from the President of India, Dr.Abdul Kalam. Some of the other important awards are the Pt. Jasraj Gourav Puraskar received in 1995, the Mewati Gharana Sangeet Gourav Puraskar received in 2000, the Shanmukhananda Sangeet Shiromani Award in 2003 and the Aditya Vikram Birla – Kala Kiran Puraskar 2009, for excellence  in Hindustani Classical Music, A Sangit Kala Kendra presentation, Mumbai.
